Bratz under construction

here is an update..

the one in one in red is Gabriela and the one in orange is Farah!
these dolls I got second hand, with 12 others
I didn't take a before because I didn't have camera ...
I decided to post pictures of them, since I decided to work on the others, the others I will post before pics of..

Gabriela was a total repaint, I removed the paint and then painted this look, I forgot to seal it so it got messed up..
I do not know who she was before!
Farah was a yasmin.. I enhanced her paint..gave her orange make up..the braid is not rooted but I'm thinking of giving her orange streaks and maybe some sparkles.

The back-up plan

well I saw the movie the back-up plan and I LOVED it.

and of course I was inspired to make dolls. I still don't know which look to do

I was thinking maybe this one(on the right), it is the look on the poster and the beginning of the movie.

or maybe this one, because i love the dress and the look.

or her pregnant....

if I decide to do the guy, I'll have to match him with the scene and what not.

I also don't know which dolls to choose, i honestly don't wanna do that much work but oh well, I'll have to go through them tonight.

the thing is I still have lots of unfinished projects so It'll probably be a while before I start on this one.

I knew I said I'll finish posting pictures of the dolls I have, but I'm too lazy LOL, I'll do it later...

A fair and foul a day i have not seen...

Today I woke up and went down to the basement where I displayed the thirteen Barbies I scored last night. I bought them for an average of 11.50 a doll. They ARE the most precious things!!
I looked at them with a sense of satisfaction and self fulfilment!!
Then rings the door bell, it was a lady I arranged to buy dolls from, not only was she early, but she bamboozled me.
I wanted to buy them for new OOAK projects I wanted to work on. She gave me 16 dolls for 140 dollars. Most were in kind of a bad shape. Two were in boxes, one in a very damaged one. These were the ones I feel I scored big time on.

One was the Busy Gal Barbie Limited Edition 1960 Reproduction Fashion & Doll which goes up to 45 dollars, but the box was pretty damaged...

The other one was the bay exclusive , on eBay it was up for 150 bucks.

The lady priced these two for 35 dollars, so that was amazing.. But the rest was pretty much crap...

There were some vintage dolls in bad shape... some old Barbies... some Hasbro dolls and a Cher doll or something... and oh a poison Ivey doll and a spice girl doll...
So I feel like I was cheated but I wasn’t really, I should look at it as scoring two amazing dolls and getting some dolls for OOAK creations...

Anyway, I’m getting eight dolls for my OOAK projects this afternoon... and I’ll start getting serious with that... all the repaints I did so far are kind of not so great, and the enhancement are just OK, not good enough... the re-root I did on one doll turned out pretty good and it was for practice on a crappy doll my little sister had so I’m thinking now of fixing her up or as I like to say, pimping her out!!!

I just deleted my other post to start fresh... because I just finished university exams and I feel like I need that..

Follow and I’ll be updating often and showing the dolls I make...
